Housekeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all spaces are spotless and well-maintained.
• Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
• Manage housekeeping supplies efficiently, reporting any shortages or needs to management.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies while performing cleaning tasks.
• Assist in laundry services as required, ensuring linens are clean and properly stored.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure optimal guest satisfaction through effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain equipment used for cleaning in good condition, reporting any malfunctions or issues promptly.

Skills

• Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and practices.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
• Experience in hospitality settings preferred, with knowledge of housekeeping management best practices.
• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Background in hotel or custodial services is an advantage.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
