Hotel Maintenance

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Full-Time Hotel Maintenance Worker to join our team at La Quinta Inn & Suites in Stamford, CT. Experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic painting and touch-up work throughout the hotel.
• Repair basic plumbing issues, including toilets and sinks.
• Replace televisions and program TV remotes.
• Complete preventative maintenance and general repair tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the General Manager.

Job Details

• Position: Full-Time (Part-time opportunities may be available based on business needs)
• Schedule: Candidates must be available to work Saturday and Sunday, plus any three weekdays. Availability on weekends and holidays is required.
• Training: On-the-job training provided as needed.

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Basic maintenance or handyman experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, climbing ladders, and using basic hand tools.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
