Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay. Your primary responsibility will be to manage front desk operations, assist with guest inquiries, and maintain a high standard of hospitality that reflects our commitment to guest satisfaction. Must have reliable transportation.
Must be willing to work all shifts which includes some weekends and holidays. Shifts are 7 a.m. until 3 p.m; 3 p.m. until 11 p.m or 11 p.m until 7 a.m.
Must be over 21 years of age to apply.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and special requests.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed correctly.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
- Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally, directing them as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is a plus.
- Strong communication skills; multilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with guests and provide excellent guest relations.
- Experience in front desk operations or night audit functions is advantageous but not required.
