Guest Service Agent

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay. Your primary responsibility will be to manage front desk operations, assist with guest inquiries, and maintain a high standard of hospitality that reflects our commitment to guest satisfaction. Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while ensuring accuracy in guest information.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and special requests.
• Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are processed correctly.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
• Utilize phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally, directing them as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with hotel management systems is a plus.
• Strong communication skills; multilingual abilities are highly valued.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with guests and provide excellent guest relations.
• Experience in front desk operations or night audit functions is advantageous but not required.
