Duties
- Perform nightly audits of hotel financial transactions, including billing and accounting procedures
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently while providing exceptional customer service
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage multi-line phone systems and respond to guest or staff communications promptly
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming during overnight hours
- Assist with guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Follow established phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests and staff
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for new arrivals
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management, hotel management, or related fields
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and guest relations
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Experience with night audit procedures and front desk operations in a hotel or resort setting
- Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of hospitality software systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
