Responsibilities
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry to ensure timely availability for guest rooms and public areas
- Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas and maintain equipment to ensure optimal functioning and safety standards
- Handle special cleaning requests including dry cleaning or stain removal with attention to detail
- Follow established procedures for laundry safety, chemical handling, and infection control protocols
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring supplies of detergents, cleaning agents, and linens
- Support overall hotel cleanliness by participating in general cleaning duties as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred; training will be provided
- Knowledge of laundry operations including use of commercial washing machines and dryers
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures related to chemical use and equipment operation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays as needed
