POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Wine & Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of the beverage program, with a strong focus on wine selection, service standards, and team training. This role is ideal for a wine expert with leadership experience in a high-volume, fine dining environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, implement, and maintain a creative and profitable beverage program, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
- Manage daily bar operations, ensuring exceptional service, quality, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Recruit, train, and mentor bar staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth.
- Maintain inventory control, ordering, and supplier relationships to optimize cost and reduce waste.
- Analyze sales and financial reports to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Collaborate with culinary and management teams to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate innovative beverage concepts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Curate, develop, and maintain an exceptional wine list aligned with LPM’s brand and standards
- Manage all beverage operations, including wine, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic offerings
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, cost controls, and inventory.
- Passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Certification in mixology or sommelier credentials is a plus.
- Monitor inventory, control costs, and ensure proper stock levels
- Train and mentor staff on wine knowledge, pairing, and service standards
- Collaborate with the culinary team on menu pairings and seasonal updates
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol regulations
- Maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction
