Responsibilities

  • Engage in outside sales activities by visiting prospective clients and existing accounts within designated territories to promote our offerings and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct comprehensive product demos tailored to client needs, showcasing technical features and benefits effectively.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to generate leads through cold calling, networking, and targeted marketing efforts.
  • Manage existing accounts by providing exceptional customer service, upselling additional products or services, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, update client information, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to close deals that align with company objectives while meeting customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop territory-specific campaigns that enhance brand awareness and lead generation efforts.

Skills

  • Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Expertise in business development strategies including lead generation, cold calling, and direct sales approaches.
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for managing customer relationships and sales pipelines.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with a customer-focused mindset to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Knowledge of technology or technical sales environments; experience demonstrating complex products is a plus.
  • Strong analysis skills to interpret market data and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Exceptional communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and negotiations confidently.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools like CRM software and stay current on industry trends in retail sales, marketing, and B2B markets.
