Our state-of-the-art clubs focus on the one lifelong benefit valued by everyone: good health. We are currently seeking new Operations Managers for our Seattle area. The Operations Managers are dedicated to making the fitness experience at our clubs an exceptional one. They create a clean, fun, and friendly environment by hiring, training, and motivating their staff on the front desk, babysitting, and club pride/janitorial teams.

Operations Managers also facilitate operation of the club through all departments including Operations, Sales, Personal Training, and Aerobics.

Operations Managers generate revenue, keep a clean and well maintained club all while providing great customer service. The opportunity is there to be promoted to higher management positions such as Member Service Manager, Area Manager, and District Manager.

Operations Managers are full-time employees who work regular hours, receive paid vacation, full medical benefits, vision benefits, and dental benefits. Operations Managers are paid hourly plus commissions and bonuses every pay period (twice monthly). All LA Fitness staff receive a complimentary membership.

Our Operations Managers have college degrees and many have backgrounds in the fitness, hotel, or banking industries.

We are currently seeking applicants to begin training at our Seattle WA locations. Applicants who are friendly, passionate about fitness and experienced with providing excellent customer service are the beginnings to a great Operations Manager. Building relationships with staff and members alike is a key function for this position. Operations Managers are responsible for finding, hiring, training, and supervising 10 staff from three key departments: Operations/Front Desk, Babysitting/Kids Klub, Club Pride/Janitorial.

Build and maintain member relationships by engaging in a professional manner while actively listening to and addressing concerns. A bubbly personality and desire to constantly grow and learn are key functions to success in this position.

This job is IDEAL for someone who is dependable, people-oriented, adaptable, and achievement-oriented.

This position will start as an Operations Manager in Training with the purpose and goal of growing into a full Operations Manager position. Operations Managers in Training will have a senior Operations Manager (either a Member Services Manager, Area Manager, or District Supervisor) to work alongside throughout the course of training. Length of training is based on the individual and can vary depending on strengths.

Our average Operations Managers in Training stay in the role for 6 weeks-8 months prior to progressing and growing within the company. Operations Managers in Training have similar responsibilities and requirements in their roles, and are thus compensated similarly to an Operations Manager.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
