Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kids Club Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children while their parents participate in activities. You will play a crucial role in supporting children's development through play and structured activities, ensuring that each child feels valued and cared for.
Duties
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and fun environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Kids Club area.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's experience and any concerns.
- Monitor children's behavior to ensure safety and adherence to club rules.
- Provide care for children of various ages, including toddlers and preschoolers.
- Assist with special needs children as required, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and incidents as necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience or education in Early Childhood Education, Daycare, Toddler Care, or related fields is preferred.
- Knowledge of Childhood Development principles is essential.
- Skills in Classroom Management or Special Education are advantageous.
- Previous experience in caregiving roles such as Babysitting or Nannying is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with children and parents alike.
- A compassionate approach to working with children, fostering a positive environment for growth and learning.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
