We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead strategic planning, development, and lifecycle management of our avionics and aviation product portfolio.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- The Product Manager serves as the business and strategic owner of assigned avionics and aviation products. This role is responsible for defining product vision, managing product roadmaps, and ensuring successful execution from concept through certification, production, and market adoption. The position works cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership to deliver compliant, profitable, and market-leading solutions. You will:
- Develop and execute product roadmaps aligned with company strategic goals and customer demands.
- Perform market research, competitive analysis, and customer needs assessments.
- Define product value propositions and positioning strategies for target markets.
- Serve as the primary business owner and internal advocate for assigned products.
- Partner closely with Engineering to translate customer and market needs into product and certification requirements.
- Coordinate with Quality and Regulatory teams to support STC, PMA, and supplemental certification efforts.
- Align with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality production.
- Manage product lifecycle activities including introduction, growth, maturity, and end-of-life planning.
- Monitor product performance, customer feedback, financial metrics, and compliance requirements.
- Identify improvement opportunities, cost optimizations, and feature enhancements.
- Support Sales and Marketing with technical documentation, product launch materials, and customer presentations.
- Serve as a subject-matter expert in customer, OEM, regulatory, and industry discussions.
- Attend industry trade shows, supplier meetings, and customer engagements as required.
- Track KPIs, margins, program schedules, and development progress.
- Prepare executive-level updates and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure all product initiatives align with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
WHAT YOU BRING:

- Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in product management, program management, or engineering leadership within aerospace or avionics.
- Master’s degree in Business, Aviation Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
- Must hold a valid passport and driver’s license.
- Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug testing and any applicable company/FAA Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program that may be required.
- Must be able to pass required background checks, including a 10-year TSA check if airport access or badging is required.
