We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer 2 to support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes. Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test mechanical tools, equipment, machines, and related systems.
- Review and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and technical documentation.
- Evaluate project feasibility, including estimated time, resources, and costs.
- Investigate equipment failures and operational issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to troubleshoot mechanical equipment and system issues.
- Assist drafters and other engineering team members in developing structural and mechanical designs.
- Create and review sketches, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated engineering reports.
- Support engineering projects through design, testing, analysis, and implementation.
- Maintain accurate engineering documentation and communicate technical information effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 1–2 years of relevant engineering experience; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Internship experience may be considered toward the required experience.
- Experience with CAD or other engineering design software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to create sketches and perform common engineering calculations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills
- Mechanical design and product development experience.
- Experience with manufacturing or industrial equipment.
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis experience.
- Knowledge of engineering design and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative onsite environment.
Salary : $60,000 - $65,000
