Software Engineer- Infotainment, ECU

Experience Required: 2 years of experience in object-oriented analysis and design, multithreading, algorithms, and data structures.

• 2 years of experience in Python development; coursework and/or research may be considered.

• Python - The successful candidate will join the SW Updates Test Automation & Tools Development team and help deliver software solutions (mostly authored in Python) that enable automated testing of automotive infotainment, connectivity, and related vehicle technologies.

• This role focuses on building, maintaining, and improving automation test scripts, python libraries, tools, and test infrastructure that improve test efficiency, coverage, and reliability.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to root-cause problems creatively and effectively.

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and environments, e.g., PyTest, unit testing, or Slash.

• Experience with CI/CD systems, e.g., Jenkins.

• Experience with Windows and Linux command-line scripting and batch/shell scripting.

• Experience with Groovy, Java, or C .

• Experience with test case management systems, e.g., TestRail; defect tracking systems, e.g., Jira; and source code management tools, e.g., GitHub.

• Experience with embedded operating systems, such as QNX or Linux.

• Ability to work in a multi-site team environment and contribute in a self-driven, self-motivated manner.

• Experience with web application development, such as Django.

• Experience with automated GUI testing tools, e.g., Squish.

• Experience with database querying and administration, e.g., SQL.
