Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain Android applications and components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and backend engineers
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Implement new features and improve existing functionality
- Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
- Stay updated with new Android frameworks, tools, and best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
- Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree
- 2 years of experience developing Android applications
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin or Java
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and networking
- Experience working with the Android SDK and Android Studio
- Experience with Git or other version control systems
- Knowledge of UI design principles and responsive layouts
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, collaborative startup environment
- Basic understanding of machine learning or AI concepts and their application in software products
- Must be proficient in data structures and data manipulation
- Must be fluent in written and spoken English
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience integrating AI/ML models or AI-based APIs into applications
- Capable of providing detailed analysis of identified issues
- Experience with Jetpack Compose
- Familiarity with MVVM or other Android architecture patterns
- Knowledge of Room and other common Android libraries
- Experience with unit testing and UI testing
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments
