The Opportunity
The Director of Accounting will serve as a key architect of financial strategy while ensuring operational excellence across all accounting functions. This leader will guide planning efforts, strengthen internal controls, and deliver insights that help move the business forward.

What You’ll Own
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Shape and execute financial strategy aligned with business goals
- Partner closely with executive leadership to drive growth and performance
- Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights
Accounting & Reporting Excellence
- Oversee all close processes (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting in compliance with GAAP/IFRS
- Strengthen accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Planning, Forecasting & Analysis
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Analyze performance, identify trends, and recommend course corrections
- Build financial models to support key initiatives and investments
Audit, Compliance & Risk
- Act as primary liaison for external audits
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Develop future leaders within the organization
Systems & Process Optimization
- Oversee financial systems and reporting tools
- Drive efficiencies, scalability, and accuracy across operations
- Lead system enhancements and process improvement initiatives
What You Bring
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 7 years of progressive finance/accounting experience with leadership responsibility
- Strong command of GAAP and/or IFRS reporting standards
Leadership & Technical Strengths
- Experience managing close processes, audits, and internal controls
- Ability to communicate financial insights to senior leadership
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
Preferred Credentials
- CPA, CMA, or similar certification
- MBA or advanced degree
- Experience in complex, multi-entity or high-growth environments
- ERP system expertise (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, etc.)
