Job Title: Warehouse Receiving Specialist
Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Lunch Break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
Availability: Mandatory Saturday shifts required based on seasonal volume and workflow.
Position Summary
We are seeking a disciplined and experienced Warehouse Receiving Specialist to oversee the accurate intake of inventory. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail and a proactive professional demeanor. While the primary focus of this role is Receiving, the candidate will be expected to provide cross-functional support to the Returns and Shipping departments to ensure seamless operational flow.
Primary Responsibilities
- Inbound Logistics: Manage the unloading of freight and small-parcel deliveries efficiently.
- Inventory Verification: Reconcile physical counts against packing slips and purchase orders with a high degree of precision.
- Equipment Operation: Safely and proficiently operate an electric pallet jack to stage and stow merchandise.
- Cross-Departmental Support: Assist in processing customer returns and preparing outgoing shipments as dictated by daily workflow.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all incoming goods and report any discrepancies or damages immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Previous professional experience in warehouse receiving or inventory control.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in the safe operation of an electric pallet jack.
- Reliability: A proven track record of exemplary attendance and punctuality.
- Detail Orientation: Exceptional counting accuracy and the ability to identify SKU errors or quantity mismatches.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform manual labor, including lifting and standing for the duration of the shift.
Compensation & Growth
- Initial schedule is set at 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
- A formal performance and workload evaluation will occur following a 90-day probationary period.
- Potential for increased hours is available based on individual performance, seasonal demands, and total workflow.
Pay: $15.15 - $17.00 per hour
