DFW Lube Ventures LLC, a rapidly expanding Quick Lube and Automotive Repair company in the DFW area, is hiring motivated Lower Pit Technicians for multiple locations.

We are looking for dependable, hard-working individuals who can move fast, follow directions, and perform quality vehicle maintenance in a high-volume quick lube environment. Previous quick lube or automotive maintenance experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.

This is not a sit-behind-a-desk job. This position requires working in and around the shop throughout the day, including working in the lower bay/pit area. Applicants must be comfortable working in Texas heat, cold weather, rain, and normal shop conditions.

Position Overview

As a Lower Pit Technician, you will play an important role in completing oil changes and preventative maintenance services safely and efficiently. You will work underneath vehicles to remove and install drain plugs, service oil filters, inspect for leaks, check undercarriage components, and assist the team in keeping vehicles moving through the shop.

This position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to follow company processes every time. The lower bay is one of the most important positions in the shop, and accuracy matters.

Responsibilities

Perform basic oil changes and preventative maintenance checklist procedures.

Remove and install drain plugs properly and safely.

Loosen, remove, install, and tighten oil filters correctly.

Inspect the undercarriage of vehicles for leaks, damage, loose components, and basic mechanical concerns.

Identify and report leaks or mechanical issues to the upper bay technician, service advisor, or manager.

Perform lower bay preventative maintenance services with accuracy.

Service differentials, lubrication points, and other maintenance items as needed.

Follow proper safety procedures while working in the pit and around vehicles.

Communicate clearly with upper bay technicians, service advisors, and management.

Keep the lower bay/pit area clean, organized, and safe.

Work efficiently in a fast-paced quick lube and automotive repair environment.

Follow company processes, service procedures, and quality standards.

Work outside and around the shop in heat, cold, rain, and normal shop conditions.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Must have a valid driver’s license or valid ID.

Previous quick lube, lower bay, pit technician, or automotive maintenance experience is preferred.

Basic knowledge of oil changes, filters, drain plugs, differentials, and lubrication points is a plus.

Must be dependable, on time, and ready to work.

Must be able to follow directions and company procedures.

Must be detail-oriented and committed to quality service.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Must be comfortable working in the lower bay/pit area and around active shop equipment.

Must be comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions.

Must be able to communicate well with team members and management.

Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.
