Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese dishes with precision and artistry, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food hygiene in all areas of the sushi preparation station
- Manage inventory levels of ingredients, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste through proper storage practices
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new sushi recipes and menu items that excite our guests
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe dining environment
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff on sushi techniques, knife skills, and presentation standards
- Monitor customer feedback to continually improve the quality of sushi offerings and overall service
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including rice cooking, fish slicing, and roll assembly
- Strong understanding of Japanese culinary traditions and ingredient sourcing

- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment
