How you create impact
- Strategic Solution Design: Analyze a client's current logistics infrastructure to design bespoke end-to-end solutions that optimize for cost, speed, and reliability
- Bid and Proposal Management: Lead or support the RFP/RFQ process, evaluate commercial requirements, and define strategic solutions in proposals
- Process Optimization: Implement continuous improvement principles (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance operational standards and supply chain program management.
- Operational Implementation: Oversee the onboarding of new clients and ensure that designed solutions are implemented effectively, managing the transition from design to operations.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize Business Intelligence (BI) tools to analyze performance, track wins/losses, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with carriers to optimize costs and service quality
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise between sales, operations, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are operationally feasible and aligned with product strategies
- Client Relationship Management: Act as a consultative partner, presenting design options to senior leadership and building long-term trust-based relationships
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering is often preferred
- 3 years of experience in global logistics or freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of shipping regulations, Incoterms, and customs procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel, BI tools, and TMS/WMS software
- Proven ability to present design options to clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to design long-term logistics strategies and Skilled in overseeing project timelines, specifically for implementation.
