Job Purpose
The engineer will be involved with all Kubota products, focusing on testing new models and overseeing the manufacturing process. This role will involve identifying problems, determining root causes, and providing effective solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Oversight: Take daily responsibility for ensuring quality and implementing quality improvements for assigned products being produced at Kubota.

Project Management: Lead the testing and evaluation of new product models to facilitate their acceptance for mass production at Kubota.

Reporting: Prepare detailed product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data and trends.

Regulatory Compliance: Maintain the product and company reputation by adhering to all applicable government regulations.

Team Collaboration: Support team efforts by assisting colleagues during capacity challenges and contributing to a cooperative work environment.

Special Projects: Undertake special projects and additional tasks as requested by management.

Regulatory Testing: Conduct testing and evaluation for regulatory compliance, including but not limited to vehicle emissions, EU noise testing, and ANSI testing.
Essential Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a solid understanding of core concepts such as mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, and material science.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, with a basic understanding of electrical schematics.

Strong technical writing skills.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to multitask effectively.

Competence in English, with clear writing abilities.

Demonstrated self-starter with the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills and Experience

Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Access, or SQL.

Experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment.

A Master’s degree in a manufacturing-related engineering field is a plus.

Knowledge of outdoor power equipment is desirable.

2-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting.

Hands-on mechanical experience is an advantage.
