Position Summary:
Operate stand-up forklifts and use scanners to manage material transfers in the AS400 system. Building 3 Receiving.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fills in and performs all production positions in the absence of regular team members.
- Performs training of co-workers on processes/equipment utilizing work standards.
- Learns new processes quickly to deliver and conduct training of others.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in regard to parts, tools, equipment, and job distribution to prevent downtime.
- Maintains and trains co-workers on 5S and TPM work standards.
- Supports ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.
- Flexibility to work in any manufacturing area.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Must have experience operating powered industrial stand up forklift equipment.
Extensive knowledge of Kubota products and processes.
English language competency and legible writing ability
Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to work with little to no oversight.
Working Conditions:
Must handle extreme temperatures, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Physical Requirements:
In this job, the team member needs to work in very hot or cold temperatures, stand for the whole shift, use their hands to handle objects and tools, reach with their arms, go up stairs, balance, bend, kneel, or crouch, and be able to talk and hear. They should also occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Good vision is important, including seeing things close up, far away, and having depth perception and the ability to focus.
