The Tampa office of Kubicki Draper is currently seeking an organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal with over 3 years of experience in Insurance Defense, specializing in bodily injury and premise liability cases. Qualifications:
- Prior experience in insurance defense litigation, specializing in bodily injury, premise liability and/or general liability
- Prior experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills, preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills needed
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures preferred
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist Attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and management for bodily injury and premises liability claims
- Draft and manage subpoenas and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant documentation
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all information is up to date and easily accessible
- Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents, as well as create medical chronologies and bill summaries
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses and other parties involved in our cases
- Competent in the use of Word, Microsoft Office, Adobe & Excel
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to management multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Proficient in legal research and writing
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment
