What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Technician - Creston, IA position at Kubat HealthCare?
Provides excellent one-on-one patient care for all aspects of respiratory home care.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):
- Deliver and pickup oxygen cylinders, equipment, and supplies to and from patients
- Review orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the patient is satisfied
- Load and unload items from vehicles
- Record and track oxygen cylinder lot numbers
- Clean and provide maintenance on DME and respiratory equipment
- Assist with routine oxygen concentrator checks
- Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle patient questions and issues
- Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid and insurable driver's license
- Ability to lift equipment of 50 lbs (oxygen concentrators) frequently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Respiratory Technician experience
