KronosAI is hiring a Terence Tao-level exceptional researcher in applied mathematics to lead foundational work at the intersection of AI, physics, and large-scale scientific computing. Full-time preferred. Exceptional part-time arrangements will be considered for senior academics (e.g., applied mathematics professors at leading institutions).

- Define, lead, and scale research programs in foundational models for physics simulation.
- Propose and execute new research directions in numerical PDEs and mathematical foundations of scientific machine learning.
- Work closely with the engineering team to translate theory into scalable algorithms.
- Set the intellectual and technical bar for research at KronosAI by publishing high-impact research in leading venues.
- PhD in Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a closely related field (or equivalent research record).
- Deep expertise in numerical analysis of PDEs, computational physics, scientific computing, mathematical foundations of machine learning and operator theory.
- Strong publication or equivalent research track record of turning academic innovations to real-world or industrial use.
