We are seeking a Computational Physics Engineer who will help us make physics simulation tools accessible to every domain expert without specialized training in numerical methods.

- Design AI-first platforms to interface numerical simulators with AI agents.
- Develop agent-native workflows from the ground up for AI-powered autonomous multistep and/or multiphysics simulations.
- Drive technical architecture: You will influence the product roadmap and help define our technical vision as we scale.
- PhD in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, and relevant fields.
- Strong background in computational physics, numerical analysis of PDEs, and numerical simulation methods (e.g., FDTD, FDFD, FEM).
- Years of experience in developing and/or improving commercial (e.g., Lumerical, COMSOL, HFSS, CST) and/or open-source (e.g., fdtd-z, MEEP, Devito, MOOSE) numerical simulators.
- You have strong opinions about UX, system design, architecture, and performance tradeoffs, and can defend them.
