Rotor Dynamics Engineer – Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Rotor Dynamics Engineer with 10 years of experience analyzing rotating systems such as jet engine fans, compressors, and turbines.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive aerospace rotor dynamics and mechanical design experience.
- Experience predicting critical speeds, creating Campbell diagrams/whirl speed maps, and analyzing imbalance forces, moments, and displacement.
- Proficiency in ANSYS APDL or Workbench and 1D Beam FEA techniques.
- Expertise in rotor dynamics and shafting structural analysis.
- Leadership experience in design reviews, risk assessments, project management, and mentoring engineering teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Systems engineering and cross-functional collaboration.
- PLM tools and aerospace certification processes.
- Aerospace materials, manufacturing, AS9100, and MIL-STD standards.
- Design for manufacturability, tolerance analysis, and mechanical testing.
