Advanced Electrical Engineer

We’re looking for looking for an experienced Sr Advanced Electrical Engineers to support a team working on complex electrical controls, automation, and engineering systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with PLC programming, control systems, troubleshooting, and software development rather than just supporting existing systems.

The position offers the opportunity to work on challenging engineering problems involving both electrical and mechanical systems, with a strong focus on developing and troubleshooting control solutions.

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and troubleshoot electrical control systems for complex equipment
• Design and program PLC-based control systems
• Develop control logic from scratch, including function blocks and Add-On Instructions
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical control issues
• Work across multiple PLC platforms and industrial automation systems
• Support test, automation, and engineering activities
• Develop and maintain software using LabVIEW, Python, and .NET
• Work with engineering teams to diagnose issues and implement solutions

What we’re looking for

• 6 years of electrical engineering experience
• Strong experience with PLC programming and industrial controls
• Experience with Emerson, Allen-Bradley, and/or Phoenix Contact
• Experience developing function blocks and Add-On Instructions (AOIs)
• Ability to architect and develop control code from the ground up
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• 6 years of experience with LabVIEW, VeriStand, Python, and/or .NET
• Strong problem-solving and hands-on engineering skills
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred
