Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician

We’re looking for an EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) Technician to join our team on a contract basis. This position is focused on supporting safety programs, with a strong emphasis on digital documentation, reporting, and compliance tracking. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of computer-based work and hands-on support in a manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and recommend improvements.

• Investigate incidents and near misses, document findings, and suggest preventative measures.

• Track and maintain records of training, incident reports, and compliance documents.

• Assist in delivering safety and compliance training to employees.

• Order and manage medical, safety, and emergency response supplies.

• Support ergonomic equipment delivery and setup for employees.

• Assist with light facility tasks, such as installing signage.

• Partner with the site safety lead to address corrective actions and update policies.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 1 year of experience in an EHS or safety-related role (manufacturing experience preferred).

• Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Must be a “US Person” under U.S. export laws (citizen, permanent resident, or otherwise authorized).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of EHS experience.

• Experience with database management and safety documentation systems.

• Background in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
