What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist position at Kronos Consulting?

Responsibilities:
o Conducting inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
o Investigating incidents and near-misses, documenting findings, and suggesting preventative measures.
o Participating in EHS training sessions for staff, ensuring understanding of best practices and compliance requirements.
o Maintaining accurate records of safety training, incident reports, and compliance documentation.
o Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the organization.
o Manages the ordering and inventory of medical, safety, and ERT related equipment/supplies for company locations.
o Assist in the assembly and delivery of ergonomic equipment to employees.
o Support EHS Lead in addressing corrective actions and implementing changes to site policies and plans.
Position Requirements:
• 1-3 years' experience in an EHS position.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Computer skills in database maintenance
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
Salary : $20 - $22
