Closing Manager

Kris Lindahl Real Estate
New Hope, MN Full Time
POSTED ON 4/29/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/27/2026

There is one person who thrives in the middle of the storm.

And they already know who they are.

Not the loudest voice in the room.

Not the one chasing credit.

The one quietly making everything work.

The one who sees the entire transaction unfolding before anyone else does… who knows exactly which conversation needs to happen next… who keeps sellers informed, deadlines intact, and everyone moving toward the finish line.

The quarterback.

This role isn’t for someone who wants to “process paperwork.”

It’s for the person who understands that behind every transaction is a human story — sometimes stressful, sometimes emotional, sometimes complicated — and that the right communicator can change the entire experience.

If you’re wired to bring calm to chaos, clarity to complexity, and empathy to people going through big life decisions… keep reading.

Because this role might have been written for you.

The Role

We are hiring a Closing Manager for a fast-growing Real Estate Investment (REI) company.

But titles rarely explain the real job.

Your job is to own the transaction experience for our sellers.

From the moment a property goes under contract until the day it closes, you become the central point of communication — the person making sure nothing falls through the cracks and every seller feels supported along the way.

You are the quarterback of the deal.

You will coordinate timelines.

Communicate with sellers.

Work with title companies, internal teams, and partners.

Track documents, personal information, and deadlines.

And make sure each deal crosses the finish line smoothly.

Some days will move fast.

Some deals will require extra care.

Some sellers will be going through stressful or emotional situations.

Your ability to stay organized, communicate clearly, and lead with empathy will make all the difference.

The Environment

This is a high-performance, fast-paced environment.

We move quickly because our clients need us to.

If you love structured days where nothing changes and everything moves slowly, this won’t be the right fit.

But if you enjoy momentum — if you like having multiple moving pieces and the satisfaction of bringing them all together — you’ll feel right at home here.

You’ll start with in-person training, learning the systems, the team, and the process.

Once training is complete, you’ll transition to working from home, with occasional in-office days to stay connected with the team.

What You'll Actually Do

You will:

  • Communicate regularly with sellers throughout the transaction
  • Guide sellers through required documents and personal information collection
  • Coordinate timelines and ensure deadlines are met
  • Act as the central hub between sellers, title, and internal teams
  • Track deal progress and proactively solve issues before they become problems
  • Maintain meticulous records and transaction details
  • Deliver a professional, empathetic experience for every seller

In short:

You keep the deal moving.

And you make the seller feel confident every step of the way.

Who You Are

This role is designed for someone with a very specific wiring.

You are highly organized and detail-oriented.

You notice the missing document before anyone asks for it.

You are highly social and an excellent communicator.

You know how to explain timelines, expectations, and next steps in a way that makes people feel comfortable.

You are empathetic.

You understand that many sellers are going through stressful life events — divorce, relocation, financial challenges, estate situations — and you meet them with patience and understanding.

You are proactive.

You don’t wait for problems to appear; you prevent them.

You are calm under pressure.

Deadlines move, people need updates, and details matter. You thrive in that environment.

And one more thing — you already understand real estate transactions.

This role requires prior real estate experience. That could be in transaction coordination, title, real estate operations, lending, or working inside a real estate office.

You don’t need to learn the basics of contracts, timelines, or closings here.

You’ve lived them.

And most importantly:

You finish what you start.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a quiet administrative role where you sit behind a spreadsheet all day.

This is not a low-communication position.

And this is not the place for someone who gets overwhelmed by moving pieces.

What This Role Is

This is the role for someone who loves being the person everyone relies on.

The one who brings structure to the deal.

The one who ensures sellers feel informed and supported.

The one who quietly makes the entire operation work.

Location

  • Training: In-person
  • After training: Work from home
  • Occasional in-office collaboration days

If This Sounds Like You

Apply and tell us a little about yourself.

Not just your experience.

Tell us:

  • Why you’re great at keeping people informed and organized
  • A time you had to coordinate many moving parts
  • What makes you the kind of person others trust to get things done

Because the best Closing Managers don’t just manage files.

They manage experiences.

And the right person will know exactly why that matters.
