About the Role:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the oversight and organization of project control documents. This role is integral to project communication, project administration, and document control. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and organize submittals, RFI’s, show drawings, plan logs, permit logs, procurement logs, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate and input schedules, safety inspections, and quality checks
- Manage meeting minutes
- Ensure all trades, systems, and sources have been fully examined for compliance, coordination, and appropriate approvals
- Provide support to project managers and superintendents
- Experience: 2 years in construction or related field, and/or bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related discipline. Moderate knowledge of multiple project types and trades. Participate in mid-size projects to large size projects
- Systems Knowledge: Proficient in Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, Word, Outlook, Zoom, MS Teams, AutoCAD (viewing)
- Skills: Proficient in plan reading, technical reading and writing, and critical thinking
- Attributes: Dedicated, resourceful, articulate, curious, analytical, reliable, organized, punctual
- Reports to Project Manager and Senior Project Manager
- Desk and computer-based work
- Inspect job sites: walk 2-3 miles, climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding
- Lift up to 15 pounds at a time
- Commute to job sites
- Work in a growing and supportive environment
- Gain exposure to a variety of construction projects
- Be part of a collaborative and knowledgeable team
