We are looking for a highly capable, driven, and detail-orientated materials handler to join our growing organization and become a key contributor to Koya’s future success. The Material Handler is primarily responsible for organizing warehouse materials and issuing materials from inventory to the production floor. The role consists of a variety of duties including material movements, cycle counting, verifying and recording material movements, and troubleshooting pick work orders, and assisting with shipping/receiving duties as needed.

Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Issue materials for use in manufacturing operations, ensuring correct parts and lot numbers are used as specified on work orders.
- Maintain accurate stock counts by recording transactions and cycle counting.
- Labeling, moving, staging, loading, locating, picking, and stacking product.
- Maintains cleanliness throughout the warehouse and carries out facilities maintenance duties as needed. Organizes warehouse and work area for orderliness.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed, including logging and labeling receivable, preparing materials for shipment, and moving materials.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience in a medical device or similar regulated environment (e.g. aeronautical)
- Basic computer skills with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Good teamwork, communication and interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated commitment to company values.
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to work independently and follow written instructions
