Café East located within the prestigious Grandover Resort, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Café Manager to lead daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong food and beverage knowledge, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily operations of Café, ensuring excellence in service, quality, and guest satisfaction.
· Lead, coach, and train team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service and uphold resort standards.
· Develop and implement effective staff training programs to enhance product knowledge, service skills, and operational efficiency.
· Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to support employee growth and career development.
· Manage scheduling, labor costs, and shift coverage to maintain smooth and efficient operations.
· Maintain strong knowledge of all menu offerings, including food, beverage, and bar operations.
· Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring appropriate resolutions.
· Oversee cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and resort standards across all areas of the restaurant.
· Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and assist with cost control, reporting, and operational problem-solving.
· Collaborate with resort leadership to identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
