Job Title: Industrial HVAC Service Technician & Installer
KEM is currently seeking to fill the role of an experienced HVAC technician with extensive knowledge of the trade.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Installation of commercial HVAC systems, duct and refrigeration systems and its piping.
- Knowledge of low and high voltage circuits.
- Knowledge any type of mini split installation.
- Maintain and repair all HVAC equipment and components.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and follow-up on any unplanned issues that may arise at a job site.
- Monitor all processes and ensure compliance all safety regulations.
- Ability to use a variety of hand-tools.
- Ability to interpret information in technical written forms such as diagrams, drawings, charts, schematics, etc.
- Adhere to the proper procedures in the use of paperwork (work orders, return material tags, etc.).
- Maintain truck, equipment, and appearance.
- Attend all training classes and training seminars to keep expertise up to date.
- Turn in all required paperwork on-time, making sure all fields are completed accurately and correctly.
- Maintain a clean workspace on jobsites.
Work Experience – Qualifications - Education:
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and detail.
- Must be able to mentor and supervise at times.
- Attention to detail is an asset.
- Must be able to access rooftops comfortably and routinely with extension and/or fixed ladders at heights of 15’ to 20’, and occasionally, up to 50 feet
- This role may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, risk of electrical shock, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
- This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, walking, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
- It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 lbs.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license & clean driving record to operate company vehicles.
