About the Role:
The Receiving Clerk works in the materials office and plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate intake of goods and materials at our Michigan Interkal facility. This position is responsible for verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents to maintain inventory accuracy and support operational efficiency. The Receiving Clerk will collaborate closely with warehouse and buyer teams to promptly resolve discrepancies. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to maintain accurate records and support the overall supply chain process. Ultimately, this role contributes to the seamless flow of materials, enabling the company to meet production and customer demands effectively.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mid level computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software or databases.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse clerk role.
- Familiarity with ERP systems a plus.
- Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Record and document received goods accurately in inventory management systems.
- Communicate with suppliers and internal departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to shipments.
- Job file processing
- Assist in verifying counts of inventory received (when required).
- Support Materials Group with minor tasks (when required).

Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM with an hour lunch and Friday 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
