Position: CAD Operator – CAD Drafter
Interkal, LLC is a leading manufacturer of telescopic bleacher seating systems. As a CAD Operator, you will be responsible initially for preliminary and submittal drawings as you learn the complexities of the bleacher designs. This position has opportunity for growth and development to the stock billing level. This is a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor to further develop your CAD skills and grow into a long term position here at Interkal.
Scope: Create seating layouts based on architectural plans, specifications and required accessories with the intent to maximize seating capacity, following state and local building codes and arrange all components in the most economical configuration.
Job duties to include:
Create Preliminary and Submittal drawings
Verify code compliance of architects/owners marking on returned/approved drawings
Aid in product standardization
Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements:
Must have a high school diploma
Must have completed relevant CAD coursework and/or at least one year of previous experience
CAD certificate or Associate’s degree preferred
Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment screenings
May be required to travel overnight
May be required to work depending on customer volumes
