About the Role:
The HR Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting the overall human resources functions within the organization. The HR Generalist will serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, providing guidance and support in various HR matters. Additionally, this role involves managing recruitment processes, onboarding new employees, and facilitating training and development initiatives. Ultimately, the HR Generalist contributes to the organization's success by enhancing employee engagement and promoting a productive work environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum Associates degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in an HR role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
- Experience with HRIS systems and recruitment software.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
- Familiarity with employee engagement strategies.
- Experience with ADP Payroll processing. This position will serve as a back up for payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Provide support and guidance to employees on HR policies, benefits, and performance management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
