Minimum Qualifications:

- Proven experience in parts estimation, inventory management, or a related role within the manufacturing, or repair industries.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using estimation software, spreadsheets, and inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers, team members, and management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a technical discipline.
- Experience with industry-specific parts catalog software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of industrial parts and components.
- Certification in parts management or estimation from recognized industry organizations.
- Familiarity with cost control and budgeting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze repair orders, technical drawings, and specifications to identify required parts and materials.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for parts needed in repair, maintenance, or production projects.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain current pricing and availability information.
- Maintain and update parts databases and pricing lists to reflect market changes and inventory status.
- Communicate estimates and related information clearly to internal teams, including procurement and project management.
- Assist in resolving discrepancies between estimated and actual parts usage and costs.
- Support inventory management by forecasting parts demand based on upcoming projects and historical data.
