About the Role:
The Facility Technician is responsible for the general maintenance and cleaning of the facility and grounds around the office location. Must have the ability to diagnose and fix minor mechanical issues, operate cleaning equipment and handle basic grounds maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a facility technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between facility locations as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with safety standards such as OSHA regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills demonstrated in a facility environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions and system failures promptly to minimize operational disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory of tools and supplies.
- Collaborate with facility management to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks and respond to emergency service requests.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance and repair activities.
Skills:
Communication skills enable the technician to coordinate with facility managers and other team members to prioritize tasks and ensure safety compliance. Mechanical ability and high standards for cleanliness and productivity.
Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Friday 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
