- A working knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Must have a working knowledge of computer operations.
- Must Possess excellent data entry skills.
- Must be detail oriented but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent oral communication skills and the ability to answer incoming accounting phone calls.
- Must be able to work well with others.
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Taking and distributing messages
- Distributing documents, correspondence, and package deliveries.
- Receiving, sorting and distributing incoming mail
- Maintaining accounting filing systems
- Photocopying, scanning and faxing.
- Sending emails
- Preparing and sending outgoing mailings and packages
- Typing documents and correspondence
- Accounts Payables (Entering vendor bills and paying vendors) (applying bills to correct jobs)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in use of email and internet
- Knowledge of software applications including MS Office.
- Organizational and planning
- Time Management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
