Position Summary
The Sr. Financial Reporting Analyst will play a key role in Our Client’s corporate finance and FP&A function, with a primary focus on consolidated financial reporting, analysis, and supporting executive-level decision-making. This role requires a strong foundation in accounting principles, experience with financial consolidations, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have a CPA designation, accounting experience, or an audit background and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead consolidated financial reporting across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies and GAAP.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, including variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
- Support corporate consolidation processes within the ERP or financial reporting system, ensuring alignment of intercompany eliminations, journal entries, and financial statements.
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A, and business unit finance teams to ensure consistent financial reporting and data integrity across the enterprise.
- Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, incorporating historical trends, operational drivers, and key performance metrics.
- Prepare materials and analysis for executive and board-level reporting, including financial summaries, dashboards, and key insights.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including the automation of reporting and consolidation processes.
- Provide financial support for special projects, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA designation or equivalent accounting/audit background strongly preferred.
- 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or audit (Big 4 or large corporate environment preferred).
- Experience with financial consolidations, multi-entity reporting, or corporate FP&A in a complex organization.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting best practices.
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a dynamic environment.
Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000 salary
