Corporate Controller

The Role
The Corporate Controller will serve as the senior accounting leader for the organization and a key partner to the CFO. This role will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining a strong control environment as the business continues to grow.
This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role suited for someone who can balance execution with strategic thinking and help build a scalable accounting function aligned with the company’s future needs.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Leadership & Operations
- Lead all core accounting functions, including general ledger, close, consolidations, inventory and cost accounting, fixed assets, payroll, and statutory reporting
- Manage, develop, and mentor the accounting team, establishing scalable processes and clear accountability
- Partner closely with FP&A, Operations, Legal, and other stakeholders to support business decisions
Financial Reporting & Controls
- Own the monthly and quarterly close process and deliver accurate financial statements on a timely basis
- Establish, maintain, and enhance accounting policies and internal controls in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Oversee complex accounting judgments, estimates, and reserves
- Support preparation of executive- and board-level reporting materials
Compliance & External Relationships
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and technical accounting advisors
- Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and lender reporting requirements
- Review contracts and financing arrangements to assess accounting and reporting implications
Growth & Special Projects
- Support acquisition, integration, and other strategic initiatives from an accounting and reporting perspective
- Lead or contribute to system implementations, process improvements, and automation efforts
- Help design reporting and consolidation structures suitable for a growing, multi-entity organization
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience & Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including senior leadership responsibility
- Foundation in Big 4 audit and/or accounting advisory, with subsequent industry experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience operating in complex, multi-entity environments
