Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, Hybrid role based in Tampa, FL. This position is responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and expanding Kool Logistics’ customer base in key markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored logistics solutions. The role also involves monitoring market trends, tracking sales performance, preparing reports and forecasts, and representing the company at industry events and client meetings to support long-term growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in business development, sales, and account management, with the ability to grow and retain client relationships.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, with a strong understanding of freight solutions and related services.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, including comfort engaging with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and basic data analysis to track leads, pipeline activity, and performance metrics.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet targets in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
