What You'll Do- Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnose and repair brake, steering, and suspension systems.
- Complete routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services.
- Conduct vehicle safety inspections and identify repair or maintenance recommendations.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment, repair information systems, and service tools effectively.
- Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation.
- Communicate vehicle conditions and repair recommendations with service advisors and management.
- Follow manufacturer guidelines and dealership quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Deliver high-quality repairs and contribute to a positive customer experience.
- Valid Michigan Automotive Technician Certification in:
- Brakes
- Steering amp; Suspension
- Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience.
- Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of domestic and import vehicles.
- Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and repair tools.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment.
- Additional Michigan State Certifications and/or ASE Certifications.
- Experience with engine performance diagnostics and electrical systems.
- Wheel alignment experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
