Job Title: CAD Drafter

Location: Buena Park, CA | Onsite

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Compensation: $30.00–$31.00 Per Hour DOE

Job Summary:

The CAD Drafter supports project delivery by reviewing, updating, and revising shop drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements. This role collaborates closely with internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain organized project documentation. The ideal candidate brings experience with construction detail drawings and the furniture industry, along with a positive attitude, strong mindset, and excellent problem-solving skills. Success in this role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review shop drawings for accuracy and compliance with written specifications
• Modify and redline shop drawings as needed to ensure alignment with written specifications
• Revise shop drawings based on client redlines and requested changes
• Maintain organized project files, both physical and electronic, including all project-related documentation and correspondence
• Coordinate with internal departments to communicate project deadlines and support the timely completion of client deliverables

Qualifications

Required:

• Demonstrated experience reviewing and redlining construction detail drawings
• Furniture industry experience
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and deadlines
• Highly organized with great follow-through and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while effectively working with individuals across diverse teams and personalities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues in a diplomatic and solution-oriented manner
• Strong written, visual (graphic), and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and AutoCAD with strong overall computer literacy
• Maintain a positive, proactive, and professional demeanor with a solutions-focused attitude
• Demonstrated job stability with a strong and consistent work history

Preferred:

• Bilingual in English & Chinese
• Hospitality furniture experience
