Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain supplier quality assurance processes to ensure materials and components meet company standards.
- Partner with suppliers and internal manufacturing teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct supplier and internal process audits to verify compliance with quality requirements and manufacturing standards.
- Analyze quality performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain quality plans, inspection processes, and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and process reliability.
- Utilize data analytics tools to improve visibility into quality performance and supplier metrics.
- Support automation and process improvements using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and related platforms.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and quality metrics to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to resolve quality and manufacturability concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment supporting quality, process improvement, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience developing, implementing, or coordinating quality plans.
- Understanding of statistical process control (SPC) methods, procedures, and quality systems.
- Experience analyzing quality data and identifying process improvement opportunities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
- Experience with supplier quality engineering, supplier audits, or supplier development.
- Experience with machining processes, manufacturing materials, and product manufacturability.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Experience with workflow automation tools such as Power Automate, Zapier, or similar.
- Experience with SPC software and Microsoft Office applications.
