Position Overview:
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to lead the continuous improvement of production methods for custom-engineered electromechanical components. This individual will develop manufacturing processes, optimize assembly workflows, and support cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective, safe, and quality-driven operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Author, revise, and maintain detailed production work instructions and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to ensure documentation accuracy
- Create electrical testing protocols and train technicians on proper safety and quality practices
- Analyze production workflows and implement tooling and process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risk
- Investigate and diagnose returned units (RMAs), conduct root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions
- Manage calibration schedules for all testing equipment and tools to ensure compliance and reliability
- Support internal initiatives from engineering, operations, and customer requirements as assigned
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Certification – Demonstrated experience applying process improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve throughput.
- Experience with ERP/MRP Systems – Proficient in using enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., Epicor, SAP) to manage production schedules, inventory, and work orders.
- Proficiency with CAD tools (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD Mechanical)
