Field Superintendent Responsibilities
- Supervise daily on-site construction activities and coordinate crews and subcontractors
- Enforce safety protocols, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies
- Manage schedules, order materials, and track project progress against timelines
- Monitor quality of self-performed structural work (concrete, steel, masonry)
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and office staff to resolve issues quickly
- Support project managers and superintendents in maintaining budgets and schedules
- 5 years of construction supervision or field leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in commercial construction preferred
- Candidates with rural Minnesota ties strongly encouraged to apply (within ~75 miles of Alexandria)
- $75k–$110k base salary (depending on experience)
