Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Pharmacy Operations & Compliance Assistant to support the administrative and operational functions of our growing pharmacy organization. This role will assist with internal compliance processes, documentation management, HR coordination, operational audits, and backend office support to help maintain efficiency, organization, and regulatory readiness across the company.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare/pharmacy environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Operational Support
- Assist with internal pharmacy compliance processes and documentation
- Help maintain pharmacy records, logs, policies, and operational files
- Conduct internal audits and quality checks to ensure company standards are maintained
- Track compliance deadlines, required documents, and employee records
- Organize and maintain SOPs, compliance binders, and operational documentation
- Assist with HIPAA training tracking and compliance-related administrative tasks
- Support preparation for inspections, audits, and accreditation reviews
- Monitor internal workflows and identify organizational improvements
Administrative & Backend Operations
- Complete and organize operational paperwork and internal forms
- Assist management with day-to-day backend administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems
- Coordinate internal communication and follow-up on outstanding items
- Assist with scheduling coordination and staff documentation
- Help organize reports, spreadsheets, and operational trackers
- Support inventory of office and operational supplies when needed
HR & Employee Support
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee file management
- Help maintain employee records and compliance documentation
- Track training completion, certifications, and required renewals
- Assist with shift scheduling coordination and PTO tracking
- Support employee communication and internal administrative processes
- Help ensure HR documentation is complete and organized
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills

- Familiarity with HIPAA and healthcare documentation
- Experience with administrative operations or HR support
- Knowledge of internal auditing or quality assurance processes is a plus
