Pharmacy Technician

The selected candidate Must Have

• Passion for health and wellness industry
• Professional phone skills
• Actively and effectively engage with customers including sales transactions
• Experienced retail sales and merchandising associate
• Experienced pharmacy technician with PrimeRx experience
• Collaborative team leader able to communicate effectively with all staff
• Maintain retail inventory, keep store looking fresh and full
• Monday-Saturday availability required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Work Location: In person

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients/customers and ring up sales when needed.
• Manage inventory, order and restock the front OTC shelves
• Check orders that are received and price daily orders
• Complete insurance benefit verification, initiate and follow up on prior authorizations and correct claim discrepancies.
• Process and fill prescription using computer software as directed by pharmacist.
• Pull, package and label products for patients
• Answer and make daily calls to coordinate patient deliveries
• Handle calls from patients and doctors

Qualifications:

• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated, positive attitude and has an interest in natural products
• Team player
• Reliable and always on time
• Knowledge of Micro Merchant Prime Rx a plus
• Bi-Lingual: Spanish or Russian speaking preferred but not required

Experience:

• Pharmacy: 2-3 years (Required)
• License:
• PTCB Certification (Preferred)
