Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Demonstrator to support customer demonstrations and training on high-performance printing press technology located in our state-of-the-art Komori Graphic Center. This role delivers live press demonstrations, trains operators, and showcases how Komori solutions drive quality, efficiency, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver live, professional demonstrations of Komori press operations to prospective and current customers.
- Train customer press operators and internal staff on setup, operation, and productivity features of Komori equipment.
- Visually inspect, test, and maintain press machinery and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with customers at all levels regarding Komori products and how they support productivity and print quality.
- Customize demonstration jobs to meet market-specific needs (e.g., packaging, variable data printing).
- Support additional demonstration center and customer-facing activities as assigned.
Required:
- 10 years of experience in press operations and complex printing techniques.
- Hands-on expertise in high-speed digital inkjet and offset packaging applications.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical features into customer benefits.
- Valid driver’s license with insurability per company guidelines.
- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
Occasional exposure to heights, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
Noise levels range from moderate to loud depending on equipment and demonstrations.
Physical Demands
Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear.
Frequently required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Occasional requirement to detect odors/smells.
